Scuttling of the HMAS Adelaide, created a diving reef off Terrigal in 2011
In April 2011 the HMAS ADELAIDE was scuttled off the Central Coast to create an artificial dive wreck site 1.8km from Terrigal shoreline.
The event was seen from both Terrigal and North Avoca Beaches.
The Central Coast is already one of the world’s great dive spots, and this will be a tremendous addition to the Central Coast’s attractions.
The first military dive site in NSW and one of six in Australia.
